to fax, call or mail in your payment info. BUT the order must be placed online
to start with. Also, we CANNOT accept email orders, it is not secure to email
a credit card in any circumstances.

Payment 
All payments are to be in US funds. Payments may
be made by check (personal, cashiers or money order), Visa, MasterCard,
Discover and other Novus cards. We now also accept Paypal. Sorry but
we cannot process COD's. NOTE: Reservations can only be made with a
credit card or prepayment by check.
Shipping
Charges
- UNITED STATES LOWER 48: The vast majority of
our orders ship for a flat rate of $6.95 by either Postal or FedEx
Ground. When the order goes over 2 pounds or $200 in value we may
charge you the actual cost of shipping. Please note that if the order
gets over $200 or over 2 pounds we will prefer to ship by FedEx Ground.
The postal system offers insurance but it only covers loss of the
package, not damage. So for expensive orders it is far better to ship
by FedEx Ground. See additional charges below.
- Additional charges:
- Orders including flex track will be charged
actual cost. Please note that some things should not be shipped
together, for example a bag of plaster and three pieces of flex
track. If necessary items will be shipped in separate boxes and
actual shipping charges will be billed.
- Orders over 2 pounds or $200 in value may
be charged actual shipping costs.
- Excessively large orders containing items such as Woodland
Scenics foam Subterrain products will be charged actual shipping costs.
- Orders shipped in multiple boxes will be charged actual
shipping costs.
- We cannot ship using a customers UPS, FedEx
or DHL shipping account.
- ALASKA/HAWAII: Priority Mail is the best way to ship
to these locations. For orders 2 pounds and under a charge of $6.95 will be used.
For orders over 2 pounds actual cost will be used.
- NOTE: For Miliatary APO/FPO addresses we will charge
our normal US Priority mail rate, no additional fee's or handling charges.
- Our shipping and handling policy can be revised at any
time. We will try to give our customers as much advance notice as possible.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS:
will be charged the actual US Postal Service Air Parcel charge including
insurance plus a $4.00 handling/packing fee.

Reservations
N Scale Supply processes hundreds of reservations
a year for products. In fact its pretty much the norm in N Scale. As
manuf. move to more and more limited releases, you must reserve product
in order to be sure of getting it. We require a credit card on file
to accept a reservation (or a non-refundable deposit must accompany
the reservation). With a credit card on file, we wait until the product
arrives. Once the product arrives your card is charged, including shipping,
and the product is immediately sent out to you.
Please note that on some products we give a reduced reservation price.
If we cannot charge your card at the time the product arrives, you may
loose your reservation pricing and your spot on the list. Its very important
that you keep us informed of any changes in your payment and shipping
info.
Returns
Defective
Product: If you receive defective product please contact us as soon
as possible. We can only accept product for refund within thirty days
of purchase. NOTE: If you want the product replaced or repaired most
manufacturers desire that the customer deal directly with them for defective
product. We will notify you if this is the case and can provide the
contact information for the manufacturer.
DCC Decoders: We do not accept returns of DCC Decoders, you must deal
with the manufacturer for these products.
Other Returns: If you decide you do not want the items purchased you
may return it within thrity days of purchase. Product must be new/unused
in the original packaging in resellable condition. A 15% restocking
fee will be charged (Brass carries a 25% restock fee). Product is not
accepted for return after 30 days.
NOTE: YOU MUST CONTACT US FOR A RETURN AUTHORIZATION.
Privacy Policy
WE WILL NOT SELL, RENT OR GIVE AWAY YOUR NAME, ADDRESS, PHONE NUMBER
OR ANY INFO WE HAVE ON YOU TO ANYONE (unless required by law). Your
info is collected solely to facilitate processing your orders. Occasionally
over the years we have done a mailing to indicate that we are moving
or offering a sale or special discount. These are only done internally,
we have never used an outside firm or service for this. Your info has
and will stay within the boundaries of N SCALE SUPPLY. end of story.

Due to the extreme rise in spam received by our server we have implemented a spam-filter. This filter resides on our email server and will instantly reject any perceived spam messages. It does this based on a 'Real-Time Blackhole List' which is a database of known spam relay points. Unfortunately what this means is that its possible a valid email may get rejected because somehow it has become listed in the Blackhole List we subscribe to. If you receive a rejection of your email with a message "Sender refused by the RBL" please call us instead.
