Maersk is celebrating their tenth anniversay in Transatlantic service. The scheme on this set of containers is the one they started with in 1988, but they are still running today. This is a testament to the sturdy construction, care for the equipment, and the demand for service from Maersk's customers. Maersk owns their own ships and has dedicated facilities in several major ports. They also service the West Coast of the US, and gateway traffic to the Asian from their Long Beach Harbor facility. They are able to turn a ship (unload and then load) in as little as 16 hours.
