This 50’ standard box car with double plug doors is painted red with white logo and lettering on its sides and ends. This car was built in January, 1968 and serviced in July, 1982. FEC 5022 runs on black Barber® Roller Bearing trucks. Florida East Coast began as Jacksonville, St. Augustine & Halifax, a narrow gauge line taken over by Henry Morrison Flagler and converted into a standard gauge line in 1885. Florida East Coast celebrated its centennial in September, 1995.
