Great Northern received this gondola from Pullman Standard in August 1957. It is a 50’ steel side, 15 panel, fixed end gondola with low cover and is painted vermilion with white lettering. It was originally part of a 200-car fleet numbered in series from 72800-72999. It was renumbered when serviced in August 1960. It was also fitted with a removable low cover and assigned to steel service.
