| These 100
ton 3-bay open hoppers... with load and rib sides are painted box
car red with large white “Santa Fe” and white lettering. They were
built by Greenville Steel Car Company of Greenville, PA. This pair
of hoppers is from a 400-car series delivered to the Santa Fe in
December 1976. They run on Barber® roller bearing trucks. Two
hundred and five cars were still in service in 2001. |
