| This heavyweight depressed-center
flat car, with generator load, is painted box car red with white
lettering and no end printing. It’s steel body was cast by
General Steel industries then built by Southern in February 1954.
It runs on Commonwealth freight trucks and has two vertical brake
wheels, one at each end. SOU 50003 was a member of a 15-car series
and was in service into the late 1990's. |
