| This 60’ double plug door boxcar
was designed to provide enhanced protected transportation and carried
everything from general freight, consumer electronics to auto parts.
Decorated in the later “Green Hornet” scheme, they were part of
a small series of cars that survived through several mergers eventually
becoming CSX in 1986. |
