Pullman Standard built this 100,000 lb capacity, 40' standard box car with single door in October 1941. It is a class Bx-37 car and rolls on Bettendorf trucks. The paint scheme is box car red with white lettering. On one side is the slogan The Grand Canyon Line and on the other side is the ATSF system map. This design is typical of the paint schemes that Santa Fe applied to their freight cars between 1940 and 1947. One side always bore the system map while the other side would carry one of five slogans promoting the lines transcontinental passenger service.
