Originally built in October 1947, U.S. Railway Equipment Company rebuilt this 40’ standard box car with single door in February 1966. It was then painted with blue, red and white stripes, and white lettering and logo. This car also bears the road’s slogan ‘St. Clair Blue Water Route.’ PHD 1305 has a 3903 cu ft, 120,000 lb capacity and rolls on Bettendorf trucks. The PH&D operates 19 miles of track between Port Huron and Marine City, Michigan and interchanges with CSX and GTW. (released 3/74)
