This 40’ standard box car with single door was built at Railroad’s Havelock shop in March 1958. It was part of a 1500 car CB&Q which were the first ones painted in Chinese red with white lettering. The first 500 off the line were equipped with Superior doors. This car is part of the last 1000 which were equipped with Youngstown doors. Number CB&Q 62944 is a class XM-32F box car with a 100,000 lb capacity and is equipped with Bettendorf trucks.
