This 40' standard box car with plug door is painted orange with yellow and brown Reese’s® logo. Reese’s® Peanut Butter Cup finds its origins in the 1920s when H.B. Reese, a former dairy employee of Milton S. Hershey, founder of HERSHEY’S™ Foods Corporation, was inspired by his former boss’s success and started his own candy company with a chocolate cup filled with specially processed peanut butter. In 1963 two great candy companies joined forces when the Reese’s® Candy Company became part of the HERSHEY’S™ Foods Corporation.
