It is painted dark blue with aluminum sides and sports an Eastern Goldfinch and Wild Prairie Rose flower, Iowa’s official bird and flower. The flag of the state of Iowa is in the background. The road number 1846 is the year the ‘Hawkeye State’ was admitted to the Union.
