The American Car & Foundry built this 40' standard box car with single door, and without roofwalk in June 1957. It is painted orange with black lettering and black and white logo for the Illinois Central Gulf Railroad. It was later serviced on October 17, 1972 at Chillicothe, Illinois. Number ICG 416084, designated a general service box car, has a 110,000 lb capacity and is equipped with Bettendorf trucks. The Illinois Central Gulf was formed from the merger of Gulf, Mobile & Ohio and Illinois Central in 1972. (last released: 3/74)
