This 50’ standard box car with single Youngstown door is painted yellow with bright green and red logo, green lettering and runs on black Bettendorf trucks. Built in 1941 in Atlanta, Georgia this car has a rated capacity of 110000 lbs. In service for nearly one hundred years, the Illinois Terminal was purchased by the Norfolk & Western in 1981. Cars continued to carry the ITC reporting marks into the early 1990s, even after the railroad became Norfolk Southern.
