This 50’ standard box car with plug and sliding door is painted Union Pacific Brown and lettered in UP Armour Yellow. The car bears large “Union Pacific” lettering with the “Be Specific—Ship Union Pacific” slogan of mid-1956. It was built September 1956 at the Union Pacific Omaha shops and runs on brown and black Bettendorf trucks. UP 163080 was part of a 25 car series classified A-50-24, equipped with combination flush plug and sliding doors and side wall lading anchors.
