This 40’ double-sheathed wood box car with single door and vertical brakewheel is Pullman green with a yellow stripe, logo and lettering. NWP 1934 runs on black Bettendorf trucks. Acquired in the early 1900s, the Northwestern Pacific Railroad served Northern California from San Francisco to Eureka until Sourthern Pacific assumed full ownership in 1929. Slowly, equipment was replaced and by 1958 all freight cars carrying the NWP markings were gone.
