In September 1929, the Pennsylvania Railroad built this 50’ flat car with fishbelly side and side mount brake wheel. It is painted freight car red with white stenciling. Number 470165 is one of 100 class F30 flat cars operated by the railroad in general service. The 140,000 lb capacity flat car features a straight deck, minimal load securing devices and Bettendorf trucks. This model was originally released in February 1991. With this reprint, modifications have been made to better reflect the prototype.
