This 50’ flat car with fishbelly side and side mount brakewheel is painted box car red and features the “Pere Marquette” logo and lettering in white. Built by Greenville Steel Car Company, Greenville, PA. The built date on this car says January 1943, but the diagram sheet indicates these cars were built in July 1942. It runs on black Andrews trucks. These were probably War Emergency cars with steel-conserving 2-3/8" square edge oak hardwood stringers for flooring.
