This black 50’ flat car with fishbelly sides has a side mount brakewheel, white lettering and is carrying an all new covered load on black Roller bearing trucks. Built at New Haven’s Readville Shop, it has welded underframes furnished by Bethlehem Steel, with 70 ton trucks. These cars had a wood deck for loading and securing materials.
