| These 50’ yellow
gondolas with straight sides and drop ends have large MILWAUKEE ROAD lettering
with MILWAUKEE ROAD slant herald and runs on black Barber® roller bearing
trucks. 195 gondolas with a 52’ 6” inside length were built in the mid-1960s
and numbered into series 81000-81194. Gondolas were delivered with steel floors
and lading tie anchors. Gondolas were serviced and repainted in mid-1970s. |
