| This 33’ twin bay hopper with offset
sides is painted black with the standard NP open freight car lettering
in white. Built in 1940 by the American Car Foundry to the AAR Standard
design for offset side twin bay hoppers with an interior length
of 33’ 0” and capacities of 50 tons and 2081 cubic feet, these cars
carried coal for NP. It was rebuilt in 1966 and runs on black Bettendorf
trucks. |
