This 33" twin bay hopper with rib sides is painted ‘Strata’ blue with white lettering and displays the Air Force Star Insignia. The U.S. Air Force operates railroad lines at some installations, and cargo, mileage and interchange routing varies according to military need. Originally built in October of 1950 this twin bay hopper had Journalpak lube pads installed on June 2nd, 1961.
