This latest entry in the Micro-Trains® Special Edition Pepsi-Cola Series is a 36’ wood sheathed ice reefer with modern steel under-frame. It is painted aluminum, to help reflect heat — keeping product cold, and is lettered in dark blue on sides and ends. It also wears a 4-color process image on the side tempting onlookers to enjoy a Pepsi. Number 58506 rolls on Andrew style trucks with aluminum side frames. This 75,000 lb capacity car was painted July 2000 at the Talent, OR shop (TA). In 1896 Caleb Bradham introduced the concoction we now know as Pepsi-Cola to the patrons of his drug store soda fountain.
