This 2-pack contains cars one and two from a four car series of the ‘Pepsi-Cola Cops’ cartoon. ‘Pepsi & Pete’ were popularized in advertising of the WWII era. On car #1, ‘Pete’ declares, “It’s worth a dime!” On car #2 ‘Pepsi’ explains, “But it costs a nickel!” These 36’ wood sheathed ice reefers with modern steel under- frame are painted aluminum with red lettering outlined in black. They have a 60,000 lb capacity and are equipped with archbar trucks.
