This 50' standard box car with plug and sliding doors without roofwalk is painted Great Northern's Big Sky Blue with white lettering and logo, and equipped with black roller bearing trucks with blue draft gear lid and coupler knuckle. GN 36466 is one of a 500-car series built in May 1961 by the Great Northern. It was serviced in March 1969 and received the Big Sky Blue paint. Most new and repainted equipment wore the Big Sky Blue paint from 1967 through the Burlington Northern merger of March 1970.
