This 50' wagon top box car with double doors was built in February 1937 by Greenville Steel Car Company. It is painted box car red with white lettering on sides and ends. The white stripe on the door indicates that this car was equipped with automobile loading racks. The white rectangle below the stripe specifies that the racks are retractable. Retractable racks allow the car to be used for general service. Though some wagon tops rolled on regular AAR Standard trucks, most used 50-ton capacity coil-elliptic trucks, easily recognizable by the standard coil spring being paired with an elliptic leaf spring.
