A class CH-100-233 hopper, this 2 bay ACF Center Flow® covered hopper was built by American Car & Foundry in October 1967. Union Pacific purchased Chicago Northwestern in April 1995. In August 1996, CNW 175072 was repainted in this scheme of gray with black lettering, and included the red, white, and blue UP shield with the slogan ‘We Will Deliver.’ The ACF Center Flow® design is more compact than cylindrical hopper cars. They have an LO classification, four 30-inch round hatches and two gravity outlets.
