| This two bay
ACF Center Flow® covered hopper with four round hatches is painted
light grey and lettered in blue. A large blue and yellow logo and
runs on light grey Barber® Roller Bearing trucks. Built in April
1973 and serviced in May of 1994, this covered hopper is an example
of one of two color schemes used by Blue Circle Cement for their
1-30 series. Blue Circle was the leading producer and supplier of
quality cements to the Southeastern United States construction industry
for many years. In 2001, Lafarge S.A., the parent of Lafarge Corporation,
acquired Blue Circle Industries PLC and became the world’s largest
cement producer. |
