We caught the Dirt Train heading up the Sunnyside Spur at 9:40am on Monday. The Dirt Train is a local bringing garbage and 'Dirty Dirt' that has been brought in from Salt Lake City out to ECDC Environmental for disposal. Today #5401 was in the lead, followed by #5410 and #5400. I apologize that there are so many pictures on this page, I really couldn't decide which ones to post, so I posted them all.
Please note that there are larger versions of each of these pictures. Please click on the image for the full size picture.

Most of the cars are old containers with the doors welded shut and tops cut off. At ECDC they use a Mi-Jack crane and a couple of smaller unloaders.

The Dirt Train is heading towards the Banning Coal loading facility and siding. Banning is either abandoned now as the mine has run out.
