from 1899-1941. The book covers the railroad from Denver to Arvada,
Golden, Forks Creek, Black Hawk, Central City, Idaho Springs,
Georgetown and Silver Plume.
The Clear
Creek District comes to life through family memories, newspaper
articles and photos from private collections and museums.
There are
approximately 350 black and white photos (the majority have
never been published) and over 50 paper items (company correspondence,
brochures, tickets, time tables, etc) as well as maps.
