This 40’ standard box car with single Youngtown door is box car red with white lettering and runs on black Bettendorf trucks with box car red couplers. Built in May of 1947 and last serviced in May of 1961 at Ontario Northland’s North Bay shop, ONT. 90235 was one of a fleet of a thousand cars originally used in newsprint service. Every night a string of these cars would head south down the Hudson and Connecticut River lines to feed the presses of the New York dailies.
