This
40’ standard box car with single door is painted mineral red with
white lettering. It was built in February 1944 and runs on Bettendorf
trucks. This box car was a member of the large series which was
the first to receive the white maple leaf in the mid 1940s. The
logo later changed to include a green leaf.
