This
40’ standard box car with single door is freight car red with
white lettering and runs on Bettendorf trucks. Rebuilt in the
mid-1950s from an X29 boxcar, these X29D cars featured upgraded
side plates and received the keystone logo and “Don’t Stand Me
Still” slogan. They continued to be used in revenue service into
the 1960s.
