This 40’ standard
box car with double doors was built by Great Northern Railway
in 1956 as part of
series 3500-3999. It was painted red with white lettering and
runs on red Bettendorf trucks. The
large Great Northern emblazoned on the car side was distinctive
and it was used on only a few car
series.
