This
40’ standard box car with single door and no roofwalk is painted
freight car red with white logo and lettering and runs on black
Bettendorf trucks. It was built in May 1951 by Pressed Car Steel,
serviced in September 1967, and runs on Bettendorf trucks. It
was built as part of a 1000-car series delivered to the Pennsylvania
in 1950-1951; when serviced in 1967 it received the plain-keystone
paint scheme. This car was used for grain service and was fitted
with paper or wooden grain door inserts.
