This
50’rib side box car with plug door and no roofwalk is painted
CP Action Yellow with black ‘CP Rail’ logo and lettered in
black. It runs on black Barber roller bearings. Built November
1966 by National Steel Car and last serviced by CP in 1980,
this car boasts “Movable Bulkheads”, 3” thick insulation and is
equipped with thermostatically controlled alcohol heaters.
These boxcars were CP’s first modern design with exterior posts,
adding interior insulation, saving space and weight.
