This 50’ standard box car with plug door is painted U.P. Armour yellow with Aluminum roof and black ends. The 1955 paint scheme on this box car sports the “Be Specific—Ship Union Pacific” and herald in black. It was built in July 1955 at U.P.’s Omaha shop and runs on black Bettendorf trucks. UP 499055 is a Class BI-50-1 all steel insulated box car equipped with DF loaders.
