This 50’ standard box car
with double doors is brown with white lettering and runs on Bettendorf trucks.
Built to meet the growing demand for larger door openings which permittied ease
of use for forklifts and larger loading devices. The 1955-era round herald was
dropped a few years later during repaints and as new cars were manufactured.
