This 50’ standard
box car with smooth sides and double Youngstown doors is painted brown
with white ‘wet noodle’ logo and white lettering. It was built in October
1957 by Canadian Car & Foundry, serviced in October 1975, and runs
on Bettendorf trucks. Originally numbered into series 598000-598499
as auto box cars, they were later converted into general box cars then
subsequently renumbered into series 551000-551230.
