This 50’ standard box car with plug doors is painted ATSF Indian Red with black ends and orange doors. Displaying the “SHOCK CONTROL” slogan with the large “Santa Fe Circle/Cross” logo in white, it runs on black Barber® roller bearing trucks. This ca is one of 200 “Shock Control” / “A Smoother Ride” insulated RBL refrigerator cars built in the Santa Fe shops in January of 1960. This class RR-64 car was serviced at Santa Fe’s Topeka Shops in March of 1973. The orange door indicates this car is “DF Loader”, “Damage Free” equipped.
