1972 Micro-Trains issued its first fully-assembled N scale freight car. Micro-Trains
is recognizing 40 years of making
N scale rolling stock with this special
release. This light brown Outside Braced Box Car proudly displays a red placard
with ‘Celebrating 40 Years of N Scale’ in yellow. The ‘Route of the Magne-Matics’
slogan is displayed on the door.
To date, Micro-Trains has tooled 119 N scale
body styles with over 300 roadnames and thousands of paint schemes.
