This 50’ gondola with fishbelly sides and drop ends is painted red with white logo and lettering. It was built on April 15, 1952
by Eastern Car Co. of Trenton, Nova Scotia and runs on Bettendorf trucks. The horizontal lines next to ‘Crushed Stone’, ‘Sand’ and
‘Gravel’ each show the maximum load height for the respective freight. Canadian National is the largest railway in Canada, in
terms of both revenue and the physical size of its rail network, and is currently Canada’s only transcontinental railway company. It
spans Canada from the Atlantic Coast in Nova Scotia to the Pacific Coast in British Columbia
