This
40’ double-sheathed wood reefer is brown with white lettering
and runs on Bettendorf trucks. Built in 1936 for Canadian National,
this ice reefer was converted in 1959 for use behind express
trains. Repainted in 1961 into the CN “wet noodle” paint scheme,
it continued in service until the mid-1960s when it was retired.
