This
52’ riveted steel express reefer with plug door was built by ATSF
in 1953 at their West Wichita
shop and was originally released to REA Express in their colors.
In 1969 it was repainted in this
Santa Fe scheme of orange with black lettering and large circle-cross
herlad, after the lessee
released all their express cars back to the railroads that owned
them.
