These
61’ bulkhead flat cars are white with black lettering and run
on Barber Roller Bearing trucks. Built in 1980 as part of series
5050-5089 these were designed to carry bulk and stacked commodities.
They were especially useful in transporting plate steel loads
from the foundries around the Great Lakes
