This 33’ twin
bay hopper with offset sides is painted brown with the large black
and white ‘Beaver Skin’ logo and white lettering. It was built
in May 1949, serviced in July 1963, and runs with a coal load
on Roller Bearing trucks. The St. Louis–San Francisco Railway,
also known as the Frisco, was a railroad that operated in the
Midwest and South Central U.S. from 1876 to April 17, 1980. It
was purchased and absorbed into the Burlington Northern Railroad
in 1980.
