39’ single dome tank car is aluminum with black lettering and
runs on Bettendorf trucks. Built by Pennsylvania Tank Car Co.
in 1919, the Rio Grande maintained a small fleet of second-hand
tank cars for transporting company materials like diesel fuel
and lube oil.
