This 40' standard box car with plug door and no roofwalk is car #3 of a 44-car series representing each of the presidents of the United States. It bears the portrait of our third president, Thomas Jefferson. The car comes with a commemorative pin replicated from that era. Thomas Jefferson was born April 13, 1743 in Shadwell, VA. He was the principal author of the Declaration of Independence, and is responsible for the Louisiana purchase and the Lewis and Clark expedition.
