40’ standard box car with plug door and no roofwalk is car #5
of a 44-car series representing each of the presidents of the
United States. It bears the portrait of our fifth president, James
Monroe. The car comes with a commemorative pin replicated from
that era. Monroe proclaimed the Monroe Doctrine restricting Europe
from colonizing or interfering in the affairs of the newly independent
states of the Americas. This was a defining moment in U.S. foreign
affairs. |
