50’ standard box car with single door and no roofwalk is painted
brown with white door. Lettering and logo are
white. It was built in 1968 by Pullman Standard, serviced in December
1980 and runs on Barber® Roller Bearing trucks.
Created in 1976, Conrail was the recipient of fleets of boxcars
from its predecessors. #208875 is ex-Erie Lackawanna
#63553, built as a general service boxcar by Pullman-Standard.
